Stacks/The Law Firm, Taree was the first of the Stacks/The Law Firm
offices to be established, when founder Edward Raymond Stack relocated
his sole practice from Wingham to Taree. The firm became known as E.R
Stack and Son when his eldest son Ray joined him in 1966, and E.R Stack
and Sons in 1970, when his second son Maurie joined the practice. His
third son Tim followed a few years later. As the firm continued to
expand, the name E.R. Stack and Sons was no longer deemed appropriate,
so in the early 80’s it became known as Stacks/The Law Firm.
