Our Firm
Stacks/The Law Firm, Taree was the first of the Stacks/The Law Firm offices to be established, when founder Edward Raymond Stack relocated his sole practice from Wingham to Taree. The firm became known as E.R Stack and Son when his eldest son Ray joined him in 1966, and E.R Stack and Sons in 1970, when his second son Maurie joined the practice. His third son Tim followed a few years later. As the firm continued to expand, the name E.R. Stack and Sons was no longer deemed appropriate, so in the early 80’s it became known as Stacks/The Law Firm.
E.R Stack never forgot his humble beginnings and devoted his life to providing a friendly and highly skilled service to the members of the community who came to his office. That ethos of providing specialist legal service in a friendly manner and at an affordable price, was passed on to his three sons. They in turn have passed on their knowledge and skills to the Directors of the now incorporated Stacks/The Law Firm Taree Pty Ltd, and Tim still serves as Chairman of Directors.
Stacks/The Law Firm, Taree has now grown to over 40 staff members.
The firm provides specialist legal service in the areas of:
